SIAW Vol. 2 Chapter 7 Part 2

About ten minutes later…

I felt like we had sweated enough, so we got out of the bubble bath. We all washed our bodies with the shower, then left the bath and moved to the dressing room.

I used Clear on all of us, to get rid of all excess water droplets.

I was going to dry myself up, when I realized I was still in my swimming trunks. Since Misha was there, I used Blow on my body and hair like that.

Sil hopped on a chair and lied down, expecting me to use Blow and brush his fur.

Next to him, Misha too was staring at me, eyes full of expectations.

I might as well dry her up too. I used Blow on Misha, with more attention and care than I used for myself.

During the process, Sil tapped me with his tail, probably to make me hurry up, but I ignored him.

After Misha was fully dried up, I told her to go change in the living room and wait: she nodded and complied.

I then dried Sil’s fur and started brushing it.

He enjoyed it thoroughly, just like the day before.

I too relished in the fluffiness of my small companion.

After a while of brushing, Misha — changed into her roomwear — came back to the dressing room.

As expected, the comfy roomwear looked amazing on her…

I continued brushing Sil, but couldn’t help my gaze from fixating on her.

“What’s that?”

Misha asked, pointing at the brush.

“Oh? The brush?”

“Brush? Ok, I’m next!”

She wanted to use it too?

“You should use this one, Misha. The tips are softer.”

I took out a different brush from the Item Box and handed it to her.

“You brush me, Tenma!”

This girl…she’s trying to trap me again, huh…?

“Only your family is allowed to touch your tail, right?”

“Ah…right…”

Wait, this reaction…it wasn’t a trap? Is she just…that naive!?

Misha, a disappointed look on her face, took the brush and started using it on her tail.

…for some reason, her face grew redder and redder, and sometimes she let out rather ambiguous moans…why!?

I instinctively felt like I wasn’t supposed to see that, so I concentrated more on brushing Sil. I coddled him and enjoyed the fluffiness even more than the day before.

Misha looked at her tail, glossier and fluffier than ever, apparently very pleased.

After freshening up in the bath, it was finally time for dinner.

We went back to the roof of the ALA building and started the barbecue.

First, I cooked the meat and vegetables for Misha and Sil.

Sil was wagging his tail furiously, as if begging me to hurry. Misha’s appetite had returned after the shower: her gaze was burning a hole in the meat.

I put the meat seasoned for Sil on a platter, while Misha’s had just some light seasoning sprinkled on it for now.

“Season it with salt or sauce, and enjoy.”

So I said to her, but she didn’t listen and started chomping.

She wasn’t even listening!

I looked at Sil, who had started munching on the meat at the same time, then back to Misha.

…yep, they’re pretty much at the same level!

I had to focus on cooking for a while, with little to no time to eat myself.

When Sil and Misha were mostly done with their food, I started cooking my portion.

Boar meat is really something else, after all…!

Misha, next to me, was caressing her stomach, a look of bliss on her face.

“I haven’t had boar in such a long time…”

In the village we often ate guinea fowl, after all. I didn’t remember boar being served often.

I chatted with Misha for a bit while eating: the barbecue turned out to be a great success.

We ended up with oil and stains on our clothes, though, so I used Clear on all of us. We moved to the living room after that.

Misha sat down on the sofa, made Sil lie down next to her and started petting him.

I sat on the sofa across from them and opened my mouth to speak.

“From today onwards, this building will be your base of operations. That room is the bedroom, so sleep there from tonight.”

Misha looked surprised, but immediately went to check the room.

She came back in a hurry, though.

“What are you going to do, Tenma?”

“I’ll sleep in the Room. I’m planning to build a house somewhere in ALA one day, but it’ll take a while.”

“I see…”

Misha, timidly, asked another question.

“…can Sil sleep together?”

“I already made a place to sleep for Sil, next to this building. Well, you two can talk it out and decide, though.”

Misha looked befuddled by my words.

“Hey! Sil can’t talk!”

“Sure he can, with Mental Message.”

Misha, surprised, looked at Sil.

She had probably started a Mental Message conversation, as Sil woofed every now and then.

After a while, Misha turned towards me, all happy.

“I could talk with Sil!! We’re going to sleep together starting today!”

Eeh, really? I wanted to sleep with Sil too…

Sil didn’t seem displeased at all, though, so it was fine, I guess.

“I’m glad that’s solved. After resting a bit more, shall we go back to training?”

I took out the thinned Poison and Paralysis potions made for Misha,

She clearly didn’t expect she had to train more that day: she looked at me, wide-eyed.
