If you’re new here—or returning after a while—welcome! We’ve recently upgraded the entire site for better reading, smoother navigation, and more features tailored for you. Whether you’re a casual reader or a loyal patron, please take a moment to read this short guide. A few things have changed.
Step 1: Log In via Patreon
To protect the site and simplify everything, we’ve moved to a new login system:
The only way to register or log in now is through Patreon.
Just click the “Log in with Patreon” after you click the login button at the top of the site. Once you’re logged in, your account will automatically be created and synced with your Patreon status.
Logging in allows you to:
- Bookmark chapters
- Comment and interact with the community
- Keep track of your reading progress
Step 2: If You Can, Please Consider Becoming a Paid Patron
Shin Translations has always been free to read. And I want to keep it that way. But behind the scenes, every chapter takes hours—sometimes days—to prepare. And running this site isn’t cheap.
By becoming a paid patron, you’re doing more than unlocking bonuses, you’re keeping the lights on.
Paid patrons get:
- Ad-free reading (no distractions, no clutter)
- Early access to chapters before they go public
- A shiny Patron flair when you comment (BETA)
- Priority in votes and suggestions for future projects
But most of all… you’re supporting the kind of storytelling you want to see more of.
Please Note: All Previous Accounts Were Wiped
As part of this rebuild, we had to reset everything. If you had an account before, you’ll need to log in via Patreon again. Your progress, bookmarks, and data won’t carry over but we promise the new experience will be worth it.

Q: Why use Patreon for everything now?
It’s safer, simpler, and helps us connect support directly to features. You can log in even on the free tier.
Q: Why am I seeing ads even though I’m a paid patron?
You’re probably not logged in yet. Once you log in via Patreon, the ads vanish for paid members. If it still doesn’t work, feel free to contact us.
Q: Can I register without Patreon?
Not anymore. This new system is fully tied to Patreon for both free and paid users.
Q: I had an account before. What happened to it?
We’ve migrated to a new platform, and all previous user data has been reset. You’ll need to register again from scratch.
Q: I can’t find the login page.
There is no traditional login page. Just click the Login button at the top of the site: it’s a popup that handles everything.
